Last Entry - In the Viewpoint of a Technophobe

It’s hard to have a clear-head when answering the question “are you for or against LaMB”. Like I would say, every side has its own good, if it’s used in the right purpose and in the right way. However, as this is my last entry participating in the LaMB’s journal, I lift up my glasses and take a closer and more considerate look at it, therefore stating my idea as “opposition”, even though I might have somewhat supported it in my previous entries.
Given that LaMB is created to become a punishment for criminals that deserve more than a hundred years of imprisonment, I will have no hesitance in giving in a hand to build up this system in the future. The advanced technology which LaMB represents gives not only the most effective solution to crime prevention and the absolute righteousness, but also the free-of-charge workers who unconditionally serve humanity – after all, this is why they called it the Recycle of Criminals, meanings to gain something better and more profitable.
Notwithstanding, my belief in the creatures that have been awarded the unusual intellectual ability has long vanished; as the more intelligent they’re, the more ambitious and greedy they become. Provided that the system of LaMB is built, would it loyally serve the original purpose, or would it expand to be a system of converting humans being into validated slaves? This is, indeed, not impossible. I can foresee the scenario of the poor, homeless, and starved people being pushed against their wills to the framework of Lamination, to become a LaMB that is ready to be on service of whomever rich and powerful. In the viewpoint of the authorities whose idea is to get rid of poverty by whatever means, it’s a common sense.
My train of thoughts doesn’t reach its station yet. The come-into-reality of LaMB may lead to the destruction of mankind, since every country has a will to reinforce and strengthen their armies, and the source that they may exploit on is so obvious; plus, criminals are everywhere to be found. When their greed reaches the extreme, there’s nothing that can block their way from the utmost power to control their planets. Over all, good as it may seem, the use of LaMB in the future should be considered in all fronts before being applied to real life; otherwise, it will comes along with wars and destructions to the planet of Cerra.
Well, since this is the last entry, I ‘d like to say some trivial things about my previous journey. Let’s say that “human” is the name that can be applied for any specific kind of high-intellectuality in other planet as well, alright? By the way, it’s very great to join this contest with you Earthians, and I hope that you guys will have a great new year, with happiness, prosperity and luck. God bless you all!
