Not believing in the existence of LaMB is one thing; imagining that it does exist is another. Now, I'm doing the second task.
We all grow old, regardless of the fact that we're from different places in the universe. That is one of some aspects we have in common; and another, is that us all have always been seeking for a breakthrough in Science that may deter such process.
LaMB exists, if yes, to be a perfect variant of prison; never can it appear to be a leading institution of beauties preservation. Were I a Cerra inhabitant, I would never commit a crime that costs me a LaMB - being life . Why is that ? Well, being a LaMb is like being a wax model in Madame Tussauds - the only difference is that you're not immobile. Beauty doesn't just lie in the big eyes, fleshy lips or a well - proportioned body. It lies in the manifestations of your feelings that show through your facial expressions, your speeches and words, and your actions. LaMBs are restricted of all the basic gestures as such, therefore, they're not at all looks like a living creatures. As for me, a life like this is worthless. When I love someone, I want to show it; I want to hug them, and tell them so. When there's a thing that makes my happiness comes to the extrene, I want to show it my gratitude. And I want to laugh when I'm with my best friends. Even if I get older as time goes by, I still want to smile till life ends; as my wrinkles appear, I want people to understand that every piece of me is smiling as well; as my hair turns white, I want to show that I've been through ups and downs of life at will. That's what a "human's life" supposed to be.
On the other hand, every living needs a target. LaMBs have no target, do they? They live in a life with orders. "Out of order" means they're a broken - down "persocone". A life without free will is not worth living; a person who lives his life without an aim is a disgrace - nothing more, nothing less. I have no wish of being beautiful this way. If I posess an eternal beauty but I can't do things at will, then I'm always ready to give it away, as I don't need it. I don't want to be order around, to do stuffs that I don't want to; and I as well don't want to put up with things that I could barely come in terms with. There's no point in living a life in which you can never stand up for yourself or speak up for your mind. There's also a saying I heard somewhere:" I left because I got sick of a boring life only following orders."
That's what a "human's life" supposed to be.
But even a lamb needs it.
Notwithstanding, if this system is well - executed, I think it would be a perfect punishment that may can be applied to serious criminals who have no sense of regreting what they've done.
